iOS Only

The Instinctive Notes App is only available on iOS devices and iOS is considered one of the most secure operating systems on the market today.

As well as built in security features that everyone should be using, including Touch ID, Find My iPhone remote data wipe and auto data wipe on multiple incorrect pass codes, Apple has built an underlying architecture that is very secure and an App Store review process that keeps exploits out.

Well less than 1% of all mobile based exploits target Apple devices, and those that do generally only work on non-standard "jailbroken" devices.

We believe that if you are dealing with Medical data, and the privacy implications that go with it, you should only be using iOS.

Monitoring

Instinctive Notes is monitored around the clock. If something goes wrong, we will be the first to know about it and will have technicians working to fix the problem immediately, no matter when it occurs.

Limited Access

Our team has the minimal required level of access to customer information in order to maintain our systems and to assist you appropriately.

Backups

Instinctive Notes is backed up daily. Restore operations are tested to ensure successful data recovery.

Instinctive Notes utilises secure SSL connections at all times, for our website, for communication with the Instinctive Notes App and for communication with our partners. All data is encrypted during transfer.

Secure Facilities

The Instinctive Notes Web Service is hosted in state of the art datacenter facilities. Physical access is controlled both at the perimeter and at building ingress points by professional security staff utilising video surveillance, intrusion detection systems, and other electronic means.

Data Location

We endeavour to store all data in a location matching your country of residence, or a nearby location, to more easily comply with privacy and medical data regulations.

For our Australia and New Zealand customers your primary data is stored and processed in Sydney based data centres.

Some third party services we use may store data temporarily outside of Australia. These are always limited to non-core operations. Third parties are carefully selected to ensure their privacy and security approach closely matches our own.
